Introduction

Giza is a community-driven DAO utilizing the bond model powered by Fantom Opera. The first product of Giza will be a reserve currency protocol, and everyone can gain from the growth of the treasury of Giza. We will launch the wsOHM bond on Fantom in the future cause we believe that the OHM token will be the infrastructure in DEFI and our treasury will grow passively fast with the help of the wsOHM token. We are very honored to become a part of the Fantom ecosystem, and we will seek more cooperation with other protocols on Fantom to expand the adoption of the GIZA tokens.

How do I participate in Giza?

When the product is ready, you can participate in Giza in two ways.

There are two main strategies for market participants: staking and bonding. Stakers stake their GIZA tokens in return for more GIZA tokens, while bonders provide LP or DAI tokens in exchange for discounted GIZA tokens after a fixed vesting period.

How can I benefit from GIZA?

The main benefit for stakers comes from supply growth. The protocol mints new GIZA tokens from the treasury, the majority of which are distributed to the stakers. Thus, the gain for stakers will come from their auto-compounding balances, though price exposure remains an important consideration. That is, if the increase in token balance outpaces the potential drop in price (due to inflation), stakers would make a profit.

The main benefit for bonders comes from price consistency. Bonders commit a capital upfront and are promised a fixed return at a set point in time; that return is in GIZA and thus the bonder's profit would depend on GIZA price when the bond matures. Bonders benefit from a rising or static GIZA price.

Who created Giza?

Giza core team members come from different time zones. We believe DAO will be a more advanced form of organization in the future and we do our work in a more decentralized way with the help of collaboration tools.

Who runs Giza?

Giza is a community-backed project and it will be governed by the community members through voting.
